Writing Distractions

I thought about joining Tumblr a while before I actually decided to just do it.  I was hesitant to join because I was afraid that it would be a distraction to my writing…it was, but in a good way.  The last thing I wanted with a blog, was to feel obligated to write when I was already having writers block.  I needed something to take my mind off it, and Tumblr did just that.  Not only did Tumblr help with my writers block, but it has also given me ideas to put into my writing.

I have met some wonderful people on here who have helped keep my chin up and inspired me in so many ways.  Thank you to each of you who inspire me, keep me motivated, who are there for me…not only on here, but in my life outside of Tumblr as well.

So thank you, Tumblr, for being what I need when the next chapter in my writing doesn’t always spill out on the pages right away.
